Metamorphosis
—from Association to Academy

Freely we have received, and freely we give. Developing capacities to their fullest, Gilead Academy educates students today for the world of tomorrow. Built on the solid foundation of the Bible and with a non-profit charter, we rest on God's providential care and leading. With a strong emphasis on music, health, and horticulture the Academy operates year round enabling a broad curriculum and resourceful programs. Metamorphosis continued…

What's Happening

If you are planning to join us over the holiday season for spiritual refreshing, be sure to register so we can send confirmation. Bring your mittens and a spirit of adventure, you're sure to find someone who's ready for some winter fun.

It Only Takes a Spark

The weather outside may be frightful but the fire inside is so delightful! The winter's chill cannot quench the spark ignited by moving into the administrative offices. As the warmth and sunshine of summer facilitated an "external" transformation on the Academy campus, the chilly temperatures now allow us the opportunity to focus on "internal" reorganization and construction.

The expansion of office space allows for the constancy and stability needed in growth and development. Everything is much simpler—meetings, organization, planning. We're anticipating significant changes as course curriculums emerge first on paper then in the classroom. When sparks fly things catch fire.

In case you haven't heard, our 2015 Spring Meetings will be a four day event, Thursday, April 2nd through Sunday, April 5th. Mark your calendar, you won't want to miss.

Soul Refreshment

Tell your children about the miracle-working power of God. As they study the great lesson book of nature, God will impress their minds. The farmer plows his land and sows his seed, but he cannot make the seed grow. He must depend on God to do that which no human power can do. The Lord puts His vital power into the seed, causing it to spring forth into life. Under His care the germ of life breaks through the hard crust encasing it, and springs up to bear fruit. First appears the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear. As the children are told of the work that God does for the seed, they learn the secret of growth in grace.
